The careers platform Unifrog has now added a dedicated page on orthoptics, Working in orthoptics: an insider’s perspective.

Unifrog has worked with our Visibility Lead, Alis Sejourne, to produce a dedicated page covering what orthoptics is, what orthoptists do, and the skills and interests that would make someone an ideal candidate. The section also includes links to our careers pages for students seeking further information.

Unifrog is a careers platform used by over 3,000 secondary schools in the UK, offering information and guidance on a huge number of careers, including the required skills, options for training and employment trends. Students, teachers, and careers advisors in these schools can access our page and explore the how they can work towards a career in orthotpics.

It also features a fantastic brand new video, featuring Alis talking about her experience as an orthoptist in a clinic and as a member of BIOS.
