NENC ICB would like to map where AHP Educator roles exist for Allied Health Professionals across the North East and North Cumbria system within NHS trusts and Local Authorities. Currently we have little information on where these roles exist, in which services and professions they exist and the function of these roles. The lack of accurate data provides us with an inadequate base to be able to address any key priorities or plan future improvement strategy.

We are looking to identify Allied Health Professional Educators working within the North East and North Cumbria system in NHS trusts or Local Authorities who;

1. Work within a role that has some protected time for education strategy, education coordination or education delivery to pre-registration learners.
2. Are based within a NHS Trust or Local Authority within NENC.

(Protected time -Time allocated for education strategy, coordination or delivery which is written into the Educators job plan or job description which is guaranteed and not discretionary)
