BIOS Member Survey 2024

We recently ran our 2024 member survey and had a great response. A huge thank you to all those of you who responded.

The response was extremely positive and has provided a real motivation for us to work to provide the best service we can for you.

• 89% of respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with your membership
• The member benefits you found most valuable were insurance, our standards & Guidance, trade union support, PV, and our campaigns
• 93% of you found our events extremely or very useful (the other 7% found them at least somewhat useful)

Work is now underway to act on the feedback we got to make sure that the benefits of BIOS membership are better than ever!

• More for new grads: An element of our new NHSE-funding workforce programme will expand the work we’ve already been doing on preceptorship, providing more support for new graduates.
• Public information: Many of you commented that you would value more standardised public information, both on the website and as leaflets and posters. We’ll be exploring options for this in the coming months.
• Website accessibility: Work to restructure the website is already well underway, following previous feedback, so watch this space!

There’s a lot of work still to do, and your answers from this year will feed into future surveys.
