07/10 AHP Framework for System Impact - Workshop

Overview
Help shape the future of AHPs – Orthoptists’ Virtual Workshop
As orthoptists, we have an important opportunity to contribute our professional voice and experience to the development of the AHP Framework for System Impact for England 2027–2032.
We want to ensure that the perspectives of orthoptists are represented and that we contribute to the new framework in a meaningful and constructive way.
To support this, we are holding a virtual “Workshop in a Box” session, bringing orthoptists together to discuss the key themes that we believe will influence the future framework. This will be an opportunity to share ideas, experiences and priorities from across our profession, including what is working well now, where change is needed, and what we want the future of AHP services to look like.
The discussion will consider themes including workforce and professional development, leadership, service delivery and system impact, research and innovation, and data, digital and technology.
We would love to see as many orthoptists as possible at the virtual meeting. Whether you work clinically, in leadership, education, research or another area of orthoptic practice, your perspective matters.
The feedback gathered from the workshop will help us put forward a meaningful contribution from the orthoptic profession to the development of the new National AHP Framework.
Please join us, share your views and help ensure the orthoptic voice is heard in shaping the future of AHP services in England.
