BIOS Orthoptics Careers and Visibility Lead
This is a seconded role and leads on the BIOS careers and student recruitment strategy. They will work with others in the BIOS team as well as external stakeholders, such as NHSE, in the promotion of orthoptics as a career and the increased visibility of orthoptists to external stakeholders and the general public.

Term: Initial 2-year period
Secondment: 2 days per week
Banding: commensurate with successful candidates current banding

- A shortlisting process will be undertaken by members of the BIOS team
- There will be a formal interview by the honorary officers via Teams/Zoom/Google Meet.
- Candidates should expect to deliver a short presentation as part of the interview. The details for this will be communicated to shortlisted candidates
- Candidates must have the support of their manager and provide evidence of this during the recruitment process
