The BIOS Conference, to be held at the Pendulum Hotel in Manchester on the 11th and 12th July 2024, promises to be a fantastic couple of days in this exciting and vibrant city.

The Conference will cover a range of topics, including, but not limited to, core orthoptics, research, the support workforce, stroke, and career development. On both days there will be multiple opportunities to interact with fellow orthoptists, through case discussion presentations, panel discussions and social activities, giving delegates the opportunity to share knowledge, learning and experience.

We are delighted to say this year’s Gail Stephenson Lecture will be presented by Fiona Rowe, Professor in Orthoptics at Liverpool University. Fiona has been at the forefront of orthoptics working with and researching the visual effects of stroke for many years. Her lecture promises to be thought-provoking and inspiring.

We draw toward the end of the Conference with guidance on how to break into research as well as an interactive panel discussion around prism adaptation testing and its use in binocular patients.

The BIOS Conference 2024 guarantees to be a bustling, high-energy, stimulating meeting, where we can all share our knowledge and experience in a safe and open space. We cannot wait to welcome you to Manchester!

A variety of ticket options are available for the event.
