Remember the feedback from Sheffield 2011?
"This was a fantastic conference. One of the best I have ever attended for content and organisation. Thoroughly enjoyed it."
“All the speakers were excellent and lots of food for thought. Screening was quite a hot topic and will provide some discussion points for our next staff meeting."
The nearest airport for most arriving from England is Belfast City, George Best Airport, a short bus or taxi ride from the University site and close to the City Centre (c.15-20 mins). There are also other flight options from Belfast International Airport, a slightly longer journey from there to the University site (c.35 mins).
The social programme includes a bus tour and informal meal at a local restaurant for those arriving on the evening of the 4th September, taking in such iconic sights as The Titanic Shipyards, Laganside and Waterfront, Belfast Peace Wall and Ulster Museum.
On the night of the 5th September, there will be a gala dinner, with drinks reception and 3-course meal, and some suitable entertainment reflecting the Northern Ireland location and rich cultural heritage.
Put the dates in your diary!
Building on your feedback from last year - we will be using the tiered Lecture Theatre, with state of the art audio visual facilities, at Queen's University so everyone can see and hear the proceedings clearly.
We are using the newly refurbished, single ensuite Stranmillis accommodation which provides exceptional value for money, within walking distance of the conference venue (see picture below).
There are many alternatives if you wish to spend more, like The Wellington Park Hotel, which can be booked separately if required
