The NHS 2015 - Where will you and your Orthoptic Service be?

INFORMATICS AND ORTHOPTICS, SERVICE CHANGES, COSTING & THE WORKFORCE

Final programme

Managers Forum 041012.pdf

In its 75thyear, the BIOS hosts a day for heads of service and orthoptic managers to review and reflect on where they and their service might be in two year's time.

By keeping up to date and knowing how to use informatics (including telemedicine), by planning proactively for service changes - orthoptics and orthoptists will, we hope, still be around in abundance in 2015.

Keynote speaker: Karen Middleton, Chief Health Professions Officer, Department of Health

INFORMATICS AND ORTHOPTICS

David Davis, Clinical Pathways and Stroke Lead, Department of Health - Connecting for Health: Seeing the Potential – Implementing the Information Strategy.

Paul Hitchcock, AHPF– Three Million Lives: Improving Access to Telehealth and Telemedecine

Q&A followed by plenary discussion
