  • Karen Hill – Dementia for frontline staff
  • Penny Redwood, Vision for Dementia - Visual and perceptual difficulties in dementia. Penny is a qualified social worker with nearly 30 years experience, having worked across many fields – children and families, older people, adult mental health and learning disabilities. She developed an interest in dementia and became passionate about wanting to improve the care and treatment that people receive. She has been a trainer for RNIB, developing their work with older people and developed training and projects in relation to dementia and sight loss. Penny is also an Associate Trainer for Dementia UK.

The event is open to all Orthoptists and not just those working in LVA.

The price includes refreshments and lunch on the day, but EXCLUDES overnight accommodation or travel costs. Cancellations (with refunds) can be made up to two weeks before the event; if you discover that you cannot attend after that time, you may send another similar delegate in your place, but you will not be entitled to a refund.
